After the legislative session ends on August 30, state legislators typically spend time in their districts. This is a great time for MVCDs to reach out to their elected officials and invite them to tour their district. In addition to meeting with legislators in Sacramento, building relationships at the local level is critical for increasing awareness about mosquito control issues and fostering collaboration.
